FIRST, MY (very short) STORY...

I didn't get to a triple-bodyweight deadlift and sub-6 minute mile overnight...

And look, I'm not patting myself on the back here, but you need to understand that YOU AND I are not that different.

Growing up and in high school I was always the skinny guy...

Anytime the situation arose in which someone needed an example of scrawny or the epitome of small, I was usually the guy.

Finally, one day, I decided to do something about it. I studied, sweat, puked, bled, and everything else to go from 139 lbs. of nothing to 200 lbs of, I wish I could say ALL muscle.

I found that at 200 lbs., for me, I was strong, but I was slow and couldn’t do some things I could do in the past. I cut the weight to 180 and now I was better conditioned, but not near as strong...ugh! This balancing act has put me on an epic quest of programming and helping others achieve similar goals.

BUT IT ALL STARTED AS A QUEST OF A SKINNY KID WHO WANTED TO GET BIGGER...

BUT NOW THINGS ARE A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT.

I'm married, have two kids, run a business full-time and I train...And my priorities are in that order.
TODAY, I JUST WANT TO BE ABLE TO DO COOL SH*T!!
What does that mean...? 

Do an obstacle race without training, run a marathon, lift crazy-ass amounts of weight, throw my kids in the air (up until they are 18 years old), and be better at life!!

GOALS CHANGE!!

...as a teenager I just wanted bigger biceps...

Lets just say I've come a long way since then...Don't get me wrong, a little extra muscle mass is always great but its far from something I obsess over.

I've come a long way from immature goals and INCOMPLETE TRAINING...

We know the struggles of the Garage Gym Athlete. We will keep the programming simple with a barbell, weights, a good rack, pull-up bar and a kettlebells (or dumbbells). And if we ever do something which require a little bit more, we will make sure you have the perfect substitute. 

WHAT'S THE MAIN GOAL OF OF THIS CHALLENGE?

Let's make this one simple: Our aim is to look amazing naked, get crazy strong, become incredibly fast, and become hard to kill. It's a lot to balance, but we got this. In this 4-Week Cycle our primary goal will be getting STRONG!!
